Benefit of Natural Soap
Natural soap gently cleanses without stripping or stressing skin. The use of vegetable oils and the cold process method creates a product that contains moisturizing glycerin and rich emollients. It is vastly more pleasant experience than cleansing with a standard, mass produced bar that is too harsh for human skin. Regular soap bars are usually made from a petroleum base and are stripped of the moisturizing natural glycerin that results from the soapmaking process. Our recipe is a blend of all vegetable oils - palm oil, olive oil, coconut oil, and cocoa butter. In the finished soap, 6% - 8%of the oils used to make the soap are still intact to nourish your skin. Combined with the glycerin that is also in the soap as a result of the natural saponification process, your skin will be soft and supple as well as clean!
Soothing lavender is a standard aromatherapy tool to promote rest, calmness, and peace.
Lavender oil is gentle enough to be used "neat" or undiluted. Our lavender soap contains the most essential oil density of all our soaps due to the goodness that lavender brings to the skin.
About Handmade Soap
Soapmaking is a craft that requires a little chemistry, a little artistry, and a little patience. Each bar gets special attention as part of our small batch handcrafted manufacturing process. From preparing the ingredients, to mixing, coloring, and pouring the batch, and then waiting for the soap to cure, care is needed to ensure that the whole process is successful.
Body cleansing: Can be used in the bath or shower with a washcloth, scrub brush, scrunchie, exfoliating pad, or any implement used to perform the mechanics of getting clean. Suitable for facial use. Lather up the implement and apply to skin, spreading bubbles over the surface of skin. Rinse.
Hand cleansing: rub soap between hands until lathered. Rub hands together to spread suds for 30 seconds. Rinse.
ALWAYS STORE HANDMADE SOAP SO THAT IT DRIES COMPLETELY BETWEEN USES. Handmade soap is full of gentle ingredients that melt away when left in a puddle of water.
