How It's Used: Added to Bath Bombs for softening the bath water.
How It's Made: Although Magnesium Sulfate does occur in nature (notably in Epsom, England), Epsom Salts are typically synthesized for commercial use, since purification of the naturally occurring salts would require more processing and chemical treatment than is practical.

Sodium Chloride (Himalayan Pink Salt) What It Is: A pink granular solid, Himalayan Pink Salt is mined from a specific plateau in Punjab India at the foot of the Himalayan mountains. It is valued for the unique blend of minerals such as iron, magnesium, potassium & calcium, specific to the region.
How It's Used: Adds color to finished bath and body products and softens water.
How It's Made: Similar to table salt, Himalayan Pink Salt is refined to remove impurities after mining.
