A sweet herbal fragrance that is lusciously refreshing. Lemongrass on its own is a very herbal and sweet scent. It is best known as a flavoring in Asian dishes, where it adds a pungent lemon-type flavor that brings out the sweetnesss of spices like coriander.
Made in a block shape, this compact form is easy to hold and fits well on small shower shelves. Each 4 oz bar is enough for about three weeks of showers for one person.
Benefit of Natural Soap
Natural soap gently cleanses without stripping or stressing skin. The use of vegetable oils and the cold process method creates a product that contains moisturizing glycerin and rich emollients. It is vastly more pleasant experience than cleansing with a standard, mass produced bar that is too harsh for human skin. Regular soap bars are usually made from a petroleum base and are stripped of the moisturizing natural glycerin that results from the soapmaking process. Our recipe is a blend of all vegetable oils - palm oil, olive oil, coconut oil, and cocoa butter. In the finished soap, 6% - 8%of the oils used to make the soap are still intact to nourish your skin. Combined with the glycerin that is also in the soap as a result of the natural saponification process, your skin will be soft and supple as well as clean!
This combination is a mental power booster. Coriander is wonderful for clarity and energy, while Lemongrass is balancing and promotes concentration. Use this combination for your thoughtful times!
In cosmetics, lemongrass is known to create an environment that allows skin to balance itself, making skin more beautiful by adding a resilient, toned feel. Coriander's most beneficial aspect in a bath bomb is that it is a natural agent for reducing water hardness. Coriander attracts metals and keeps it occupied, neutralizing the action of metal that makes hard water harsh on your skin. Coriander also contains some powerful anti-fungal and anti-microbial agents. All over the world, coriander is known for its richness in Vitamins A, K, and C. It is a valued spice in the dishes of many cultures because of the large volume of vitamins and minerals that are present in the raw herb.
About Handmade Soap
Soapmaking is a craft that requires a little chemistry, a little artistry, and a little patience. Each bar gets special attention as part of our small batch handcrafted manufacturing process. From preparing the ingredients, to mixing, coloring, and pouring the batch, and then waiting for the soap to cure, care is needed to ensure that the whole process is successful.
Body cleansing: Can be used in the bath or shower with a washcloth, scrub brush, scrunchie, exfoliating pad, or any implement used to perform the mechanics of getting clean. Suitable for facial use. Lather up the implement and apply to skin, spreading bubbles over the surface of skin. Rinse.
Hand cleansing: rub soap between hands until lathered. Rub hands together to spread suds for 30 seconds. Rinse.
ALWAYS STORE HANDMADE SOAP SO THAT IT DRIES COMPLETELY BETWEEN USES. Handmade soap is full of gentle ingredients that melt away when left in a puddle of water.
